EyeCare Center of Saline County is also proud to partner with the Bryant Hornet Health Clinic to provide comprehensive eye care on the Bryant Elementary campus. Dr. Lunsford will be seeing patients on Wednesday mornings at the Hornet Health Clinic located in Building 33, next to Bryant Elementary. She sees both adults and students for vision exams and medical eye visits.

Dr. Justin Franks

Dr. Justin B. Franks graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2003 and then completed an externship at the hospital in the Little Rock Air Force Base and an externship in private practice as well. He focuses on pr

imary eye care and enjoys seeing both adults and children. Dr. Franks Loves the long term relationships he builds with all of his patients.

In fact, in his 3rd year of practice in this area, he was voted Optometrist of the year and best of the best in Saline County by his patients, which was a huge honor to him. Dr. Franks is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, Contacts Lens and Cornea Section, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and he is an Examiner for the National Board of Optometry.

He also volunteers his time for the Infant See Program, which provides free eye exams for infants between 6-12 months old. Dr. Franks also volunteers his time providing vision screenings at many local schools and daycares. he also has provided many lectures about ocular health. Dr. Franks is very active in his community and church and some of his other interests include following his beloved Razorbacks and competitive grilling.

However, his main focus and devotion of his time is his family. Dr. Franks’ wife’s name is Michelle and they are proud parents of Madison, Micah, and Bailey.

Dr. LunsfordDr. Sarah Lunsford

Dr. Sarah Denman Lunsford, a resident of East End, originally hails from DeWitt, Arkansas. She is a fourth generation optometrist and has been a part of EyeCare Center of Saline County since 2016.

Prior to joining Eyecare Center of Saline County, Dr. Lunsford practiced in the Baptist Eye Center. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas and then went on to graduate from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN with her Doctorate of Optometry.

Dr. Lunsford is the current president of the Little Rock South Lions Club and is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association. She currently serves as a continuing education chair and on the legislative committee for the Arkansas Optometric Association.  Dr. Lunsford also serves on the medical response team for East Union Missionary Baptist Church.

In 2016 Dr. Lunsford was honored to be voted Finalist (2nd) for BEST Optometrist for Central Arkansas in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.  

Dr. Lunsford sees patients Monday thru Friday at Eyecare Center of Saline County.  She also sees patients Wednesday Mornings at the Hornet Health Clinic, part of the Bryant School District.
